Recorder Playing

Did you play recorder at school? Would you like to try it again in a group of mixed ability members?

If you have ever played recorder and would like to return to it, then do come along and hear what we are playing.  Reading music is good for the brain, blowing into an instrument is good for the lungs. So why not join us and have a complete work-out as our chuckle muscles are also well exercised when we make mistakes.

There are now 15 members who play together in four parts and we welcome new players.  We much enjoyed playing with the choir at the recent Advent Celebration in Christ Church.

Our music covers a wide range from early music to pop, with folk, classical and carols in the mix.

We meet:

9 and 23 January 2020

14 and 28 February

13 and 27 March
