Travelling to these events is usually by coach. We do occasional ‘Dial-a-Ride’ trips for those unable to use the regular coach or train visits.

All trips can be booked at the ‘Theatre Desk’ at Horizons, every Thursday morning.  Bookings must be accompanied by full payment (cheque) for each separate theatre booking.  Please make your cheque payable to ‘Aughton & Ormskirk U3A’ and the name of the show on the back.  We cannot accept cash payments.  If there is any difficulty, please come to see us.

All coaches leave Christ Church School in Long Lane promptly at the time specified. To avoid congestion at the Scout & Guide HQ, cars must be left on the Christ Church School Car Park for the evening trip and a charge of £1 will be levied per car, as a contribution to the School Funds.

SPECIAL NOTE: The theatres are becoming quite strict about deadlines for payment. If these are not met – tickets will be returned to the Box Office for sale and so we may lose them.  Please take note of the deadline dates highlighted on some trips. Also, please double-check which outings you have paid for and the leaving time, and enter the dates in your diary as soon as possible after booking, to avoid missing the events paid for, and to avoid turning up for those you haven’t booked.
