‘A warm welcome to our new group’ from Coordinators Irene and Ann!
Our thoughts are that during the meetings members can do whatever takes their fancy relating to arts and crafts – an ethos of ‘Anything Goes’ with an emphasis on broadening skills and sharing ideas.
For example, members might do calligraphy, sketching, paper mache, painting, lino printing, gelli printing, air dry clay making, mod roc sculpture, paper and origami sculpture, jewellery making – in fact anything that floats their boat.
We are starting off with a few existing u3a members with the hope that the Group is of interest to others and expands over time.
