This class, now named Yoga, combines the previous Yoga 1 and Yoga 2 classes, and is held at Aughton Village Hall every Tuesday from 12.45 – 1.45 p.m. Courses are normally five weeks long.
A course consists of five lessons at a cost in the region of £20. There are a few vacancies in the class now but please telephone the Coordinator in advance if you are interested as the room has limited capacity.
You will need a yoga mat and loose, comfortable pants and top.
Yoga is recommended as a way to relax and keep supple by the medical profession. It includes physical movements and postures, skilled and precise breathing techniques, properly constructed mental concentration and safe and effective relaxation exercises. Each session of Yoga is constructed to contain these elements. Yoga is good for everyone, from the earliest years right through to full maturity and old age. It can be adapted to individual needs.
If you are concerned about whether this is suitable for you, please seek advice from your GP or Practice Nurse.
Please contact the Coordinator for further information.
