Belly Dancing

Fondly known as ‘Jenny’s Belles’, we are a small friendly group who meet to improve our dancing in a light-hearted way – keeping motivated to exercise and to take on new challenges with our well-being.

Belly dancing is a gentle form of exercise that maintains suppleness, enhances flexibility, tones your muscles and prolongs active life. It also uses your memory.

We practice all the basic moves involved in Belly Dancing which includes hips, rib cage, shoulders, legs and feet; a good all round exercise to keep us supple and mobile. Then we go on to more intricate dances which involves memory training.

Equipment provided:  skirts, veils, coin belts and other equipment so come and join us!

See the Belly Dancers in action in this 2 minute video.

New members are always welcome. So if you enjoy dancing without inhibitions, please contact the Leader for more information.
