Discussion: Monday 5th December – 10.00am. General chat plus mince pies for Xmas – discussion
‘The Xmas Lecture’: Tuesday 6th December – 2.00pm. Google: There is more to it Than You May Think by Jack Brettle. There will be refreshments at the halfway point – computer-tutorials
Local History: Tuesday 6th December – 2.15pm. Discover the traditions and ceremonies of the Xmas festival and enjoy traditional food and drink – local-history
Science: Wednesday 7th December – 2.00pm. Fun-filled festive afternoon with mulled wine, mince pies, puzzles & games. – science
Jazz Appreciation: Friday 9th December – 7.00pm. Chicago Teddy Bears Jazz Band at Aughton Village Hall – jazz-appreciation
U3A Social Committee: Friday 16th December – 12.00pm. Xmas lunch at Christ Church Ministry Centre. Sherry reception followed by a 3 course lunch – christmas-lunch
Philharmonic Concerts: Sunday 18th December – ‘Spirit of Xmas’ – Xmas carols and music presented by John Suchet – philharmonic-concerts
Horizons: Thursday 22nd December – 09.30am. Free coffee and mince pies – time to enjoy Xmas cheer with fellow U3A members – horizons
