First Aid Training

By | February 13, 2018

We will be hosting this Workshop on Saturday 17th February between 10:30 and 12:30, as a follow-on to the Falls Prevention event we held last year. The target is group leaders who have members at risk from trips and falls, but the information given will also be useful inside the home.

The Workshop is designed to equip adults with the skills and confidence to cope in a first aid emergency following a trip or fall.  It is tailored to the attendees and offers effective, easy to learn skills.  It breaks down barriers to helping others and builds confidence and a willingness to help in an emergency.  It is fully funded and provided by the British Red Cross Education Team.  Refreshments will be provided as normal.

This invitation has already been issued to all Group Leaders via the Beacon system by Pete Trigwell (Chair, Learning & Group Support Subcommittee).
