Publishing items in the U3A Magazine, in enews and on the Website

Remember, please, to occasionally check the deadlines for sending in your items for the U3A Magazine and enews! You can view them in the online Calendar in the sidebar of the News page.

On the other hand, those of you who are Group Authors, of course, can amend your individual Group Pages on the Website as and when you wish.  (But you may wish to try to keep your Website Group Content roughly in sync with that in the Magazine and enews.) And you do not need to retype Group-related content.  You can just copy text from the email or Word file you are sending to the Magazine or enews and paste paste it into your WordPress Content box. Please send in new  images for your Group pages for the Media Library to the Media Team as previously advised in Group Author instructions – please try not to upload them yourself.

Members who are not Group Authors are also very welcome, at any time, to send in content suitable for the other non-Group Website pages. For example, items you have sent in to the Magazine or to enews may also benefit from being publicised on the Website.  Sometimes very urgent items that cannot wait for the next Magazine or enews can be quickly added to the Website. At other times,  you may have News and Reviews  to go on the News page, or a special event that needs advertising via the Front page. You can also send us relevant photos.  Best way to send in text and / or files for the Media Library is via the Web Manager drop down option on the Contact form.
