Many of the activities available through the Aughton & Ormskirk U3A for its members are run under the auspices of the many and various special interest Groups. Members, of course, can join in with as few or as many of the long list of Groups as they wish.

Local “Dementia Therapy” Course run by Age UK, starting in November.
- Sunday Social have their Pre-Christmas (and last for the year 2019) Meeting in late November. All welcome
- In November, Church History is running a special precursor to its 2020 series on English Medieval Cathedrals
- Take a Stroke Risk Check at the U3A Horizons meeting on 5 December. Followed by a coffee then cross over the Sands to Christ Church to the Advent Service
