U3A Football players past and present gathered at the Hop Vine on Monday 4th December for the traditional end of year Christmas Lunch.
Amidst the banter, a number of awards were presented…
- Our Player of the Year 2017 is Dougy (aka Graham Douglas), voted for by the other players.
- The Most Improved Player was given to Big John Gordon.
- Goalkeeping prizes went to Paul Chambers and Paul Furnivall.
- And finally, the ‘Old Farts’ award was presented to Geoff Maitland for winning the quiz
