This group continues to meet at 10 30 , on the second Monday of the month in the Scout HQ.for a discussion of the current book which is supplied free of charge by Lancashire libraries
There are usually fifteen to twenty members at a meeting, most give their own perspective on the book and then join in a more general discussion of issues arising from the reading.
Some of the books discussed during the past years have included The Secret Life of Bees, We need to Talk About Kevin, The Grapes of Wrath, The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox and The Uncommon Reader.
New members are always welcome ,so if you enjoy reading and lively discussion come and join us.
